#10 – FeetChildren’s feet are amazing and this picture captures them at 3 different stages. You can tell the middle one is the youngest, and the right is the oldest. There is something so innocent and pure about a child’s foot. It’s like they haven’t really walked a day in this world yet, their feet are unworn and soft to the touch.

Gill, I am very glad that you are going for the funeral. I feel like even though I didn\’t know him, I should go too. It never seems right when a part of our little community is lost. I\’ll be thinking of you. You are right — this is happening too often for my taste too.  Have a safe trip. Tell Amy we are thinking of them all.  AmandaÂ

Hey Gillian – I was on Kenny\’s site and saw your link – I was sad to hear or read I guess, that you have lost someone to cancer. It does suck. I will say a prayer although I\’m not a religious person, I do beleive in prayer. I too have had cancer hit my life, too much! Along with Heart disease, Lupus and sudden tragedies.  Rough rides.I hope there is a reason for it all!!! Although I\’m still struggling with that. I love your site, I don\’t have time to read it all, but I will stop in again, if that is ok? I just joined the blog world this year. Great place. Take care of yourself. L

Liz is not just ANY page turner. Liz is the Heifetz, the Pavarotti, the veritable Yo-Yo Ma of page turners. She is the kind of page turned who, if I was completely fumbling a difficult passage, would suddenly have an uncontrollable puking fit so as to draw attention away from my screwup. She also knows exactly how many pieces of sushi you might need at intermission. At least that's my experience; your mileage may vary One last bit of clothing advice for page turners: No dangly loose jackets. I once played a whole violin recital with silk caressing my left cheek at every turn. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, but it was kind of distracting.

This story breaks my heart and moves me to tears, bcauese I can relate to her pain and suffering in so many ways. Her story smashed the walls that I have been constructing and hiding behind for quite some time. The loneliness, the rejection, the isolation, and the frustration is all too real. If there is one lesson we wives learn well, it is to wear our mask. Sometimes, being a military wife is just so hard and so lonely and so painful. I think she is very brave for expressing herself so openly, and I am relieved that her cry for help was answered. I am praying that she is renewed and restored. (Address from MilSpouse Mutterings) To send Jessica, the military wife mentioned in today's earlier post, messages of hope and encouragement and to show her that she is loved and cared by many of her military sisters and brothers, you can send her a card to: Jessica P.O.
