Velma you will be truly missed! You were a wonderful Wife, mother, and Grandmother! You helped me pick out my Wedding Dress 46 years ago! We were truly blessed when we got the Thornton Men! We got the cream of the crop!
Dennis you were as blessed to have Velma as your wife and soul mate!

Velma, Velma what can I say. You are sorely missed and we will never forget you.
You and your family have become very special to Jeanette and me. We shared many laughs and stories through out the years. You and Dennis had a special relationship which I admired. You both complimented each other. I know how muck you loved your beautiful grandchildren. They were your breath of fresh air. I always looked forward to sitting on the stoop with you and your family. I know you are at peace and now you are another Angel in heaven looking down on your loved ones and you are with your mom and dad. I know I am being selfish when I say I wish you were still here.
RIP - Jo-Ann

Velma will be missed so much, she has been my friend and neighbor since 1998 which is 18 years. She always brought a smile to my face. I would walk out my door and she would be sitting on the stoop and she was the sunshine I saw first. She was there for me thru some rough patches and I will never forget that. She was a wonderful friend and we had a lot of laughs thru the years especially when Melanie, Ryan and Taylor came into our lives! I know you are no longer in pain and are at peace, my heart is breaking. I will love and miss you forever!
