I just learned of Patty's passing through a mutual friend last night. Patty was my dad's best friend as well as a very heartfelt member of the Gossman family. What I will remember most about him is his genuine regard for all of his neighbors, friends, and family. Patty always seemed to have a special gift when it came to giving the right advice or saying something pithy to lift even the darkest of moments. His love for the Yankees, his devotion to his NYPD family and his kind nature will live on.God Bless you Patty.
