Sending condolences to you, Helga, your brother, Raymond, and the whole family on the passing of your dad. Don't know if you remember me from days at Grover Cleveland or with the OLMM Theater Group? Anyway, was talking with my mom, Dorothy Gasparitsch Roeder, and she mentioned that your dad and her brother, my Uncle John Gasparitsch learned the carpentry trade together back in Rann (<not sure of spelling) in Europe. She said that dad worked for Nowak and my uncle worked for Lesar? They were both the exact same age--born in 1928. Mom also remembers your mom and her going to Grover Cleveland Park with all us kids in tow, along with the Mueller's, the Kump's, the Grote's and the Matzelle's. She also says she knew your grandma and grandpa. She was born in 1929, but still remembers Everything! Someday I will have to write a book about all her stories of Gottschee and Ridgewood! Anyway, I just wanted to send along thoughts of sympathy to you and yours.

Dear Helga, Raymond and all Family members.
We would like to express our sincere condolences.
Very sorry, we have lost a great friend, Father ,Husband, Onkel and many more.
We always had great talks and conversations.
Onkel Ludwig had told me many interesting stories as a “Gottscheer Landsman” and good American Citizen. We have talked many times about hes time as a soldier in Korea and so on.
We are going to miss Onkel Ludwig a lot.
We will pray for him and all which have been gone prior of Onkel Ludwig.
Best of Regards
Franz and Waltraud
