It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of

Dr. Nihad Hanna Makaryus

 On January 11, 2024 to the Paradise of Joy

Loving husband of Mrs. Amal Makaryus, beloved brother of Abouna Antonios Makaryus and his wife Dr. Samia Makaryus and Dr. Amir Makaryus and his wife Dr. Nahed Makaryus, amazing father to Dr. Amgad, Makaryus and his wife Dr. Lydia Gerges Makaryus, Dr. John Makaryus and his wife Dr. Nancy Rizkalla Makaryus and Dr. Mary Makaryus and her husband Mr. Mark Wassif, sweetest grandfather of  Daniel, Michael, Joseph, Maria, Nathaniel, Theodore, Emily, and David.

Additionally he was the greatest uncle to Mrs. Mirey, Dr. Faddy, Dr. Rany, and Dr. Mina Makaryus, and faithful friend to many more. He was a great man and provider who always sacrificed for others. May God repose his soul in the Paradise of Joy.
